Postures Of Return is an interdisciplinary performance integrating experimental live sound, voice and projected media to negotiate the need for duality within the self. By offering a look into this internal colloquy, the work questions which ways of knowing best sustain us, and which ask us to contort. Through this lens, Postures of Return traces how a Black femme body shifts posture, voice and presence across moments of internal love and misunderstanding.
