Postures Of Return is an EP developed in tandem with an interdisciplinary performance integrating experimental live sound, voice and projected media to negotiate the need for duality within the self. By offering a look into this internal colloquy, the work questions which ways of knowing best sustain us, and which ask us to contort. Through this lens, Postures of Return traces how a Black femme body shifts posture, voice and presence across moments of internal love and misunderstanding.
